I am so excited to be blogging this very entertaining and lovely wedding. Aimee and Conner were married in October at the Historic Woodside Place in Baldwin, Wisconsin. This is an old church that was moved to this location to serve as an event venue.
When I met with Aimee in September she made sure to let me know she liked the corn surrounding the church. She grew up on a farm in Clear Lake and their family loves the country! (Insert a huge “Thank You” to Aimee’s sister and mom for locating me and reaching out to me!) Well, we arrived to the beginning of a harvested corn field! However, there was an approximately 20 foot row of corn on the edge of the property that we made sure to take advantage of.
The weather was fairly cool with sprinkles on and off and gray skies but that did not stop Conner and Aimee and their guests from having complete fun.
The ceremony was short and sweet. Nothing short of laughs either! After Conner and Aimee brought up their unity flowers they almost stole a kiss. Those photos are pretty hilarious!
After the ceremony we ventured to the Heritage Center in New Richmond, Wi, stopped at the Wild Badger Sports Bar for a smaller celebration before ending at Gibby’s Lanes for the reception.
Gibby’s provided great food and entertainment for the guests. And, could the dances be any more fun?! I love those sets of photos!
I went through the photos about 4 times narrowing them down to these slides. Because they chose the additional photographer, Aimee and Conner have many photos with various viewpoints of the day. We made sure to capture all the details and emotions.
I know Aimee, Conner, and their family and friends will enjoy reliving this very happy day. And, happy is the way I would describe it! Aimee had the biggest smiles and fun faces. I was looking at her parents wondering who she resembles more. I see a lot of both! And more importantly is the amazing bond between them!
Might I add that the complete adoration from Conner is so heartwarming. I love how he just looks right at Aimee and is soaking her up. And, his mom and dad were there every step of the way for these two. His dad even tied the girls’ ribbons around their waist.
I had a truly enjoyable day with these 2 lovebirds and their down-to-earth friends and family. Thank you for inviting me in to your day, Conner and Aimee!
