Living in the country does not afford you the luxury of having many neighbors to become friends with and when you do discover them you add another thing to the “blessings” list.
That is exactly what the Maxon family is to us; our neighbors, friends, and also a blessing. It helps that their three kids are about our three boys’ ages and can get together to play (though never often enough). Therefore, it seems quite appropriate to take one of the kids home with you when you finish up your session, right? Don’t worry, I don’t take a kid home with me after every session 🙂
It was a perfect day to have a session and Jacob over to play outside with the boys. The weather was very nice this winter afternoon. The snow was also perfect for popping out the red colors Wendy chose to accent their outfits with (I’m guessing David did not do much of the coordinating but you never know!).
There is nothing like snow to make you feel cozy in big jackets and fuzzy boots. Speaking of fuzzy, the horses did not want to miss out either. The Maxon’s have a little farm with a BIG tractor! I’d say that green sure stands out in the white snow as well. The perfect Christmas color combo with the green and red. 🙂
Thanks again for having me over, Maxon’s, and for sharing Jacob that afternoon! The boys had a great time.
